ok listen to this.

Well i was watching the news and came across this..... Its a website that shows personal information to anyone who wants it. And gives them more detailed information if they pay a fee. Some information is wrong,(at least for my parents, i checked) but even so thats still crazy..... Works in U.S I aint sure if it works in other country's. but check it out www.spokeo.com

It's cool how they can do that, but its also kind of wrong at the same time. At least in my eyes.

But tell your thoughts on this, lol it is completely crazy..... Also if you dont know how to remove yourself from it (if your on it) copy the URL that your on and click "privacy" down at the bottom and paste it there. Then check your email and click "Click Here"....... crazy stuff lol

Ok, that is freaky! I agree, not sure if I like it or hate it. I have to admit I did just look up about 10 people I have wanted to know more information about. ;)

So do you live in Texas or Colorado? :)

But yes i think its cool how they can do this... but at the same time i think its kinda freaky. I mean honestly if someone wanted to kill someone with a certain name/age/house value then all they have to do is put it in lol...... I'll look u up in a minute... Chromes running slow, downloading more great CC programs lol.

that's one extremely freaky site, it's amazing how sites like that can just display people's information without anyone's permission.

I found a couple of you in there, Scott and Jo Ann for starters. ;) We have something similar here in Norway: http://www.iam.no . The good thing about this site is that you can be given a password and can edit the information displayed about yourself.

I don't like this kind of sites either. And we also have another search site where you can see what income people have had and how much tax they pay, plus a couple of other things like birth year etc.

Your records are all in the public domain. They always have been. The internet just makes it easy to find this information in one convenient location instead of visiting various agencies. Americans think they have the right to full privacy, which is definitely not the case.

My favorite are states that sell your vehicle registration information. Cut someone off or give them the finger for honking at you and all they have to do is write down your tag number, pay a dollar or two online, and knock on your door. Capitalism at its finest. :)

And thanks to the Patriot act, your home is not even off limits to the feds. It's ironic that whenever the government wants to violate your constitutional rights, they give it a patriotic name, sew some flags and eagles on the Gestapo sleeves, and everything it all better.

Well it's one thing to have the records being public domain, but it's another when a stalker finds you on a list like that because he did a search and finds that you make X number of dollars and it's entirely incorrect lol.

As it sits, I make a hella lot of money according to that site, and it's no where near that lol.
