Based in the UK I often find it confusing coming onto these forums and reading the posts all with times posted for I guess the local time at CC HQ.
Could you put a clock on the forums page giving the local time so that your international and I guess other users in different US time zones know what the time difference is without having to work it out every time.

Thanks
Greg

Greg, if you are using Firefox, they have an addon for an international clock. I guess other browsers might have something similar too. The FF one allows you to select just a few countries that you are interested in checking out the time in each. Can be quite useful when you are working in forums and want to know who is still snoring and who is just getting up

Hiya Greg,

You can also go into your Account settings of the site here and tell it what time zone you are in. I believe the forums and the site are then tied to your time zone instead of CC's, but don't quote me on it lol.

Hi Jo Ann
Well I checked my account settings and they were correct, so I changed them to somewhere else and that was correct also.
I then changed back to my correct settings and lo and behold the times were right, a glitch maybe in the account settings but alls well that ends well.
Thanks for the tip.

Quite welcome Greg, glad it worked for you even thought it was a bit glitchy lol. Another little bug in the forums found I guess lol. Takes a while sometimes to find all those little rascals when you redo forums and websites :P

Hi Janys, Yours was a good idea and I have installed World Clocks onto Chrome and now have four time zones set up.

Greg. Pleased that you found that useful. There are a number of those add-ons which I have found quite useful. In FF the Web Developer is probably the one I use most of all.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
