Form Builder Question

I am relatively new to creating web pages and forms and stuff. i am in the process of creating a genealogy web site for our family. I want to create a form to enable family members to communicate with me any family changes (births, deaths, marriages etc).

What I want to do if the program will let me - is to have a generic intro form pop up, then depending on what option they click on, the form will prompt for different information.

So if they click on ADD NEW PERSON, it will ask for name, gender, birthdate etc. If there is a new FAMILY (due to marriage) it will ask for marriage date and husband & wife's name.

So I guess I am looking to create kind of a dynamic form that will change what fields need to be displayed based on a selection from a dropdown or check list box.

I assume I can create multiple pages/forms - but was hoping the software would allow me to do it!

Thanks in advance - the entire COffeeCUp product line is AWSOME!!

Hi Bob,

The feature you are looking for is not part of the form builder. What you want to do can be done, but not with the current program.

Your idea about making links that will point to the correct form would work. It does mean creating more forms, but the program is pretty quick to use and has many pre-built templates that might help speed things up.

www.mainsites.ca is my website, and yes, some of it is crappy.
