I have noticed that some software are discontinued, which is not a problem. What I would like to suggest is to list them under seperate heading in user accounts under Products.

A good idea!

Another suggestion would be to e-mail a notice that xyz software is being slated for decommissioning and you have ### months to download the most recent version before it is removed your download section. I'm sure there are some out there who will ignore the e-mail, forget about seeing it, or whatever excuse they can pull out of thin air - thus complaining when the file is actually pulled and no longer available
But it would serve a purpose, in letting those others know that they need to snag it, it case there have been updates that they had not gotten. Let's face it, some people aren't really on top of making sure they have their free updates current

And what of support for those products? All software eventually has an EOL. You mourn and move on.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Even without ongoing support the software can still have useful value to some users beyond EOL. I just was suggesting that users be given an opportunity to ensure that they have the last update prior to the link disappearing from the download section... Then coming to the forum to question "Where did xyz program go?", only to complain when they find out that the program was removed a month ago due to EOL. Anyone who's been around these forums as much as we have knows that this does happen. Will it prevent all cases of this, surely not but I think it would be worth the small effort of a quick mass e-mailing (and might even personally appreciate the heads up someday).

Even though the software is discontinued, it will always be available here at https://www.coffeecup.com/help/myproducts/
When we discontinue a product, we only take it off the website.

I would still like the software o be available if you purchased it, just listed under a seperate heading for example under Products, like you can see items you have not purchased yet. It will still be available for download if person chose to do so.

That's awesome Scott

I would like to see this separate section also, and I'd like to see a tag on the items description in our downloads page saying it's discontinued too. Granted you can usually tell what is or might be discontinued by checking the last update date, but that's not always a true case of knowing for sure
