Since the other thread became a discussion about Artisteer, I thought I would ask again..... can CC PLEASE come up with a good template editor for Joomla? Currently I have to take each file from there (once I dig through a million directories to find what I want) and go into StyleSheet Maker and HTML editor separately to customize them.... not to mention my graphics editor, for builder, and more! Then,of course, to upload them back to the proper directories within the Joomla setup, which I have messed up on a couple of times. It would be heavenly to have ONE program (excluding graphic manipulation of course) to take care of all the basic, required customizable files for a Joomla template, and be able to easily U/L them back to where they belong.

One note... I, too, have used Artisteer - a good program in its own right - but it does NOT measure up to CC's capabilities when we combine the CC programs we need to do the job. PLEASE do not turn this into an Artisteer or other thread -- I want to know what CC thinks abou this idea and I have yet to see an answer from them on it.

Okay CC... y'all are FANTASTIC! I have almost all your software now and use all of it on various sites I maintain. WE NEED THIS! What do you say?

I would think that CC would come up with their own CMS before they start developing stuff for the competitors... (Just my thoughts).

I suggested already years ago a pc/client side sort of CMS. Should not be too difficult, changing shopping cart creator Pro into something CMS-ish, I suppose.
I need this for creating an online multilingual dictionary and some other sites with database and/or csv files. Anyway, as there is no reaction from CC (except that they would look into it) I'm now inclined (yes only after many years the project is in its final stage) to use Wikimedia and/or Drupal (though the learning curve is very steep...)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
