I'm currently trying to figure out how to do this and if there were software that would let me connect to a database, choose which table I wanted to be a PDF and then generate a template that could be used on a website, I would definitely buy it.

It would have to generate files that the website could use without needing the software again.

For instance, a client has a table of projects and needs to be able to print out a pdf of that table every once and a while. The software would create the PDF generator for that particular table.
