How about a flat databse using cvs, Database web sites are limited to advanced users, I use the CoffeeCup form builder for all my form needs, but would like a searchable database for my web site, currently looking at web teacher software which is good, but I like the form builder interface and could envision a CoffeeCup version as being exactly what I need.
