May I suggest that you make betas available as "registered" to users who already purchased an earlier version.

In this case, why not make a "registered" beta v1.5 to us who already bought v1.2? That way, we can use the beta and new features without worrying about running out of trial time. The 1.2 users are going to receive a fully registered full 1.5 anyway so why not ease the process and take it away as an issue?

Appreciate the suggestion Joel. We might want to try that at some point, but the main reason why we limit the time is that we want to make sure people don't accidentally continue to use beta software.
