Is Site Designer the same program as the old Visual Site Designer of 20 years ago? I haven't updated my sites in years and need to now. Thanks

in a word no Site Designer is totally a new build with a lot more to offer

Websites made with Visual Site Designer cannot be updated with the new responsive Site Designer. You can copy and paste the contents, though.
