Very Frustrating indeed

Ok maybe it is just me but does anyone else meet the same problems in V4

1. I find it almost impossible to put anything inside a container by the drag and drop or one click method. I invariably have to go to the elements panel to reorganise. 9 times out of 10 the new element gets created below the containing element I want the chosen element to go into. Far to cumbersome and annoying.

2 When trying to delete an element using the small bar above the element I have to carry this out two or three times and even right click to delete, Its a pain.

3. When working on a project for no reason RSD, frequently wipes everything out leaving me with a blank canvas. Fortunately I have enough Savvy to save the project every time I add an element. I have to close RSD then reopen the project again. This has got to be a glitch

4 It would be nice if the tab above elements had their class attached when added. it is no good reading container, container, heading6, paragraph. I have to go to the elements panel or style panel to see whet container Im working on

5. My tip. When working with multiple containers I always give them a background colour so I know for sure which one is which. Highlighting with a mouse over isn't always sufficient.

Im using MACOSX Sierra 10.16. Older computer as my laptop packed in

Hi Tony,
Any time you have an issue and you can replicate it open a support topic and report the issue. This way CC can get to the bottom of the bug.

I have had problems dragging elements into another with all versions. I use the element tree to make sure the element is open by looking to see if the arrow is pointing down. Then I add the new element.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hardly any problem with dragging dropping elements into containers.
You have to make sure that you have selected the right container you want to drop something into. Look at the bottom of the pane where you see the hierarchy of the containers as a breadcrumb path. The selected element should be highlighted.
One click works too. If there are multiple elements in the same container, the new element is added as the last element. Have to go to the elements tree to drag it to the position I want.

For me it works all the time.

When working on a project for no reason RSD, frequently wipes everything out leaving me with a blank canvas.
So far, no problems like that.

I am working in SD 4.0 on a MacBook Pro with OsX Mojave 10.14.5

It's easy to see, once you see it.

Tony, to your numbered points:
1. You are supposed to make the sequence, or hierarchy in the element tree. In some cases you can rearrange the elements directly ot the canvas, though.
2. If you are talking about the popup bar, yes, it is not very good. And far too often you chance upon the Delete icon instead of one of the others.
3. That has happened to me too, but after having tested the latest builds, I thought it was a thing of the past. Try to describe as best you can what you are doing which may lead to such blank panes, and contact support. I know that undoing a lot may cause some trouble, but otherwise I haven't had this problem for some time.
4. If you are still talking about those popup thingies that I mentioned in #2, maybe the 'bread-crumb' nav in the programme's footer may help you showing which element you are on, or even navigate within one element and its sub-elements.
5. That is a good idea that I sometimes use myself.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Thanks everyone for the advice.

Eric I agree with you. I have now found if I highlight the container in the element pane things work smoother than trying to drag and drop right away.

All the other advice is good too

Hennie I'm wondering if using Sierra is causing the project to disappear. I see you use mojave which i used to until the laptop logic board decided to fry. Also right click and delete seem to be my best option for deleting an element. That pop thing just isn't consistent enough
