Unwanted margins/ border - HTML element

Simply put the HTML element I have placed is causing some unwanted margins/ borders on the sides & bottom of the column it is located in. Neither the ROW, COLUMN or HTML element have any padding/ margin applied. Also when I scroll down it adds an extra 50px or so to the right side of the page causing an undesirable side scroll. Any helpful input would be great.... I've spent more than too much time trying to figure it out on my own. Time to bring in the big guns :)

P.S.
Once I figure out where to put up an example I will....

OK, I managed to get the S-Drive to like me - first use. http://pettyengineering.coffeecup.com/
Hopefully this is an easy fix - I am ready to move on to other pages but I want this fixed first.
Thanks for anything that helps.

I should also mention that I am attempting to use a FlexSlider for rotating images.
This is the one I am trying to use: https://woocommerce.com/flexslider/
Perhaps that is where my problem lies - IDK

AND.. it figures that S-Drive is not showing my HTML slider. I get it locally on browser preview.
Any thoughts on that?

You forgot to upload the "flexslider" folder and all its content. Upload that and post back once it is fixed and we can take a look at what is going on.

Not sure why it isn't showing up as it has been uploaded - all files generated in my export have been uploaded.

You uploaded a folder called "flexSlider" (capital S) but the markup references "flexslider" (lowercase s). File case is important when linking to things. ;)

Funny how a simple oversight like that makes a difference - I don't even remember putting that capital letter in there. Thanks for the tip. Now it is up as I see it here.

Keep in mind I have not adjusted for smaller screen widths as of yet. I felt this needed to be fixed first.
Future help is likely as I add more pages :D

It looks like you have a 60px bottom margin on the flexslider inside of flexslider.css that you need to remove.

Well, even though you were correct about the listed 60px, it did not fix the problem. Maybe I need to try without the html element. I originally had an animated gif in there but I wanted to spruce it up a bit with some controls.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
