Uniform Breakpoint styles

Hi All!

Just a quick question as I'm not finding an obvious answer, here is my scenario:

Got an RSD site with default breakpoints setup (I'll refer to them as 1 - 4), styles are set for each breakpoint but say I want to remove the style changes for a particular element in breakpoint 3 so it "fallsback" to the styles in breakpoint 4 (As per the CSS media rules) I cant find a way of doing this ? I see RSD highlights the changed items with a blue line but how do you 'reset' it or remove it so that style is not applied for a breakpoint.?

You should be able to click the break point, and on the same line in RAS to the left are a + and - symbols, black on a white background circle. Click the - to delete it. The styles should then cascade in the direction you are designing, either mobile first or desktop first. It will only delete the styles made for that media query.

Anyway of doing that for certain elements as I don't want all elements to change ?

In the element design pane adjacent to the state drop down, there is a rest button, but unfortunately, it will reset the element's class for all breakpoints.

Ah not to worry, that would have been a useful feature to have although I suppose the idea is to perfect the design and then work on the breakpoints after! Thanks for the info!

You figure what end you want to work first, the desktop, or the mobile view. Usually, people pick the desktop view first, because its easier to take out superfluous content that is just too much for a small phone viewport. And, its also easier to see more content as your create it for the page. Them as you work your way smaller, add breakpoints. That convention is debatable of course, and there are popular framework such as Foundations and Bootstrap, and CC new app for that Foundation, that is only mobile first, because mobile is considered to be primary now. It does seem the way of the future, to design mobile first.
