One thing you could try is the same color as the cc forum. It's an off white.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks Eric I just changed the grid color to the "off white" you mentioned, except for the logo bg being all white I think I will try it and see if we keep it.
