text edit and saving issues

RSD 15 build 1419. I am experiencing text edit and saving issues. not sure the sequence of events that causes it. I add or duplicate a text related element (para, list or button) and when I right click to edit text the edit text selection is grayed out. I also notice the Save selection under File is grayed out. I also noticed an "A" an the top of the element edit window that does not disappear when moving to other menu options such as elements or layout. I have to "save as" and restart RSD. .Not sure if this is the right forum or has been noticed already.
