Hello All!!
I am messing around with a theme and I have done something to cause a scroll bar to appear at screen size 399...it goes away at 400 and up...There is Not a break point at 399.
Is there a quick way to identify what is causing it while in the RSD window pane? I'm not asking for anyone to find it for me, but rather if there is a a way to identify such things? I've looked in to as many "max widths" and such but no luck.
I did change max widths on some things, just cant seem to find it anymore.
Wondering if there is a shortcut method or if anyone has made the same mistake and found a way to ID the culprit.
Thanks,
MJ
scroll bar appears...
When something like that happens to me, I preview in Firefox where I have the 'web developer' extension installed. With it I can outline all page elements and then slowly narrow the viewport until the scrollbar appears. I will then see what causes the scrollbar.
One thing you could check within RSD is if you have added margins to something and by that made the 'something' too wide. If you need space between elements, it can also be done with padding. That will not cause an element to get too wide.

Thanks, Inger. I'll check on all those options.
Have a great weekend.
