Hey- I am well on my way in designing my site with RSD, but last night and this morning I am trying to edit text and add links, but it either freezes on me or when I go to highlight text to add a link to it shows a gray paragraph box. It also does not let me click where I need to revise the text using my mouse, all I can do is use use the arrows to make spelling or grammar changes. Is my file corrupted? Do I need to re- download and if so will I loose everything I have done?

Thanx for your help- hoping to get my site up this week since we are dropping in the search engines- I know it is due to a non responsive site. LOVE COFFEE CUP by the way- have been using your stuff for well, a long long time.

Well, that is a horrible way to start your day. ;)

I need you to do is run the application in compatibility mode for Windows XP even though you may be using another version of Windows (7, 8 or 10, etc.). Here is how:

1. Right-click the shortcut icon, and click Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Here, put a check mark by Run This Program as an Administrator.
4. Next, place a check mark next to Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For and ensure Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 is selected.
5. Click OK.

In the end your settings should match this:

Hopefully, this has fixed your issue. If it does not, then we need to get our hands a bit more dirty, but let's see how that goes first. ;)

Thanx Scott- LOL- nah, I just figured it is something I am doing wrong- I am not really a web designer- just a wool washer. LOL

Did that and same thing is going on- so will work on other pages until further notice- back to another cup of joe and another page.

WOW- something is really kooky with the program now. I opened up another page to duplicate and everything is laying on top of one another. Not at all what I designed. Do i need to make sure the ID has something in it all the time? I do make classes for each page so I can change the look, but leave the ID blank unless I want it to link on the same page.

Can you do this please Lynn? Open a support ticket here at https://www.coffeecup.com/help/myroom/opentopic/ and send us your project file along with a few screenshots of what you're seeing and I am sure we can get to the bottom of this.
