Now you have a function. I didn't even know what you were trying to accomplish. Thanks Twinstream for doing that.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Yes, everything is ok. Thanks to all who has taken part in this.

I have uploaded the gallery, but something weird happened that I don't understand:

At first I called it 'tab-gallery', and when exporting I get this _exported as part of the folder name. So I wanted to get rid of that bit, but it was simply not possible. I keep my web folders in my dropbox, and after several attempts I moved the folder to desktop and finally got rid of the ending. Back into the dropbox, and the ending was back! I uploaded, and I got the folder with the _exported uploaded, but when trying the one without, DFTP collapsed - over and over again. I tried Filezilla, it didn't collapse, but the file transfers failed. I tried to remove the -exported bit from the folder I had managed to upload, NO WAY! DFTP collapsed again. So I wonder if the name 'tab-gallery' has any special meaning, or whatever else it could be causing the trouble. Eventually I solved it by calling the project and the exported folder 'tabbed-gallery'. That worked.
I don't need any help with this, I got everything uploaded in the end, but if someone has any knowledge to share, what on earth I was up against, I would be very interested.

Did you have it open in another window or being accessed by an app. I exported it as tab-gallery and uploaded after, removing the _exported as you do, here. https://ericrohloff.com/coffeecup/inger/tab-gallery/

That was what I thought at first, but I had closed all instances of it.

On a side note....interestingly enough this version of the same tabbed gallery probably would not need anything changed.

It would also allow setting the individual close button and description color(s) which may be necessary depending on dark or light images.

Just my luck....ha !

Nice work ! Now you can set different color(s) of the close button (including hover) and descriptions if they happen to blend into the picture color. :)

I was looking into using a data-attribute setting (color-invert) on the previous project example you did to accomplish this same thing.....

I used a font icon as the close button. I could have used a html element for that wee bit of code, then It would have been easier to colour style it. Oh well...

Yes, the colour-invert would be something I'd be interested in :)

I have a the optional color choice(s) for both the description and font icon. It will accept a color choice such as blue, white, black or even a hex value. Need a little brush up on naming the variables and data attributes but should have your first project example to upload in the morning.
