What is a good way in RSD to build an album of images containing pages of thumbnails with active links to full-sized images?

Colorbox is one way.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

It all depends on your needs and the look you want. You want responsive images still even at full size so colorbox is one way.

I would download the examples and use the code that does what you like. You can see an example on my work site that I just updated. http://esmansgreenhouse.com . Click on one of the 4 Inch wave sub headers then click one of the types in the list.
