Ok -

I replicated Project A - created in the root subsite folder and uploaded all the folders of the site pkus a experimental page. When I go to the Project A demosite I then navigated to that subfolder/page.html. Went there ok but does not display correctly. Its like its not picking up css

Site A and Site B are two different projects. Each has to be exported and the entire contents of the folder uploaded. The process really is the same as you have been doing already. Site A in root folder and the new Site B in a sub-folder.

Don't over think the process. ;-)
