It's not bad at all for a first time, as I said there are a couple of minor things but nothing to worry about.

I should be able to do better things next, though still like th old coding way.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of coding that still needs to be done. Most of my time is now spent on scripts instead of the layout.

Yeah, I will find enough to do though I don't do anywhere as much as I used to do, brain is slowing down.

I know where to come then if I am struggling on a script, just starting to get back into it.

I made a couple of changes yesterday evening and now it looks ok, I had to edit the main css file to make the html section display ok, it is copyrite notice on the bottom it is just ajava script that updates the year. It could have been me that got something wrong.

I have lost touch with some scripts with not doing much for a while, but slowly getting back into it.

The one I have done with RSD is one of 6, each for a different area around where I live. We bought the new domains so that we could us them as addons within a Cpanel hosting acccount we have got and they will act as one page advertising, hopefully they will work.

I am trying the Responsive Site Designer trial out now. I should have waited until I was not so busy and actually ready to try it before I downloaded though. Now I realize I only have a few days left until the trial expires......

Meantime, I have to ask. Are the .RSD files proprietary to CoffeeCup. I am just wondering if these other template sites will be having .rsd templates also or if I will be restricted to getting them all from CoffeeCup? Just curious, since you guys steered me to buy a membership at Dream Templates. This is a question I would have to have answered before considering buying this. Just to see how much the discount is, I clicked 'Buy' and the discount is already gone.

Also, how difficult will it be to add the Menu Builder menu's to these themes? I have bought the latest CC Editor and the Menu Builder. Sorry for all the questions but my clock is ticking.

With RSD you can create sites from scratch or you can use a .rsd template. I don't know of any other company than CoffeeCup that offers .rsd templates, but you never know.

You can import menus from Menu builder into a RSD project. If you hang on here a while, there's always going to be a new discount before you know.

The answer to your question(s) is yes, the .rsd files are proprietary to RSD only and you are unable to use them with other builders, but ... if they are like any other of CC's files the extension may be able to be renamed to .zip and unzipped to grab the contents of the files within it so you can then use them outside of the program if need be. That's only if they react as most all the rest of CC's files for themes and such do.

The answer to the themes is the same, they are proprietary as well and you cannot use outside themes with RSD only those created within it (or purchased here) can be used with it. Once you create a site within it though it can be exported and edited in any editor you like, you will just not be able to import your changes back into the program is all.
