I builft my first website back in the late 90's using Coffeecup's very first Web Page Editor, I still use the latest HTML Editor today and my website is still functioning to this very day, but, it is time to move on.

Having been wondering about this new Responsive Site Designer and checking out some of the features, one of which stated that Bob Visser, Hi Bob, could build a website in 30 minutes I decide I should try it out, after all Google says my site has to be responsive.

So, I have RSD installed and only taken a quick look as yet, Coffeecup have always produced good software and I have most of it.

Finally, Scott and Bob we will soon find out if the following saying is correct " You can't teach old people new tricks".

Welcome to the new world of reduced coding.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

This is a site I built for use in my job.(HTML Editor)
https://pestlogbook.com
This is my personal site used for testing and as an easy way to share photos.(RLM imported to RSD)

Same here Jim, only I created mine on WebTV & didn't get CC till much later. You will love RSD once you get some practice under your belt. The best advice I have is to begin at full desktop size before you start working with breakpoints. My sites are simple home page types & I was able to make one decently responsive without adding a breakpoint. As we become more proficient with RSD we can always improve a site but for now it's great to know the page is viewable on a smart phone.

Yep- and old dog- in this case ancient, IS learning new tricks and you will LOVE RSD once you get the hang of it. I built my original site in 96 with Dreamweaver until I found CoffeeCup HTML editor since 1999( found them on Two Cows) and love my Coffee people. Only thing is I really miss the old theme song when you downloaded a file.... " I love coffee in a cup".

Have fun- this is a wildly easy program once you wrap you mind around another way of thinking. Still learning but lovin the journey.

The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.

Good luck with it, Jim! ;)

From someone who is addicted to coding but still dabbling with RSD off and on.

Thanks Inger, just having a look at it now, quite a bit different to the old VSD.

So far I have got the Header image in place, tomorrow setting up a nav bar.

Still like to do normal coding.

Lynn.

Normal coding is second nature to me but when needs be you have to go with times.

Shouldn't be too long before I grasp it.

Had a look at your current site, Jim. Does CC still offer that discount in your voucher?
