I used the mobile menu found here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSKfcqFbbTM
with great success.

That was with RSD v1.2

Am I right in saying it does not work in RSD v1.5(beta) ?? Or is it just me?

I don't see why that woudn't work?
You still have all the same elements (cols, rows, lists, classes, etc).

Faure, I went to the site mentioned in the YouTube video of that menu, downloaded the.rsd file of it and opened it in RSD version 1.5. All went well, the change from horizontal to vertical menu worked BUT; the 'hamburger' icon with which you are supposed to open the vertical menu, did not work. Not in RSD preview, and not in a browser preview. I have not checked if the code for that button is correct or not. Also, I don't have the older RSD version to test it on.

Thank you Inger for confirmation.

Maybe the CoffeeCup team can figure out why??

Please.

My thought exactly. But it does not.

If you use the .rsd file that is supplied in v1.2 it works perfectly well. If you open the same .rsd file in v1.5, the vertical menu does not open. (As confirmed by Inger). Building a new menu in v1.5 following the instructions have the same result.

Some help here will be greatly appreciated.

I have pointed the CC staff's nose to the problem. RSD version 1.5 is still in Beta, so they might have a solution before it is officially launched. If you want to speed up the process, you may try opening a support ticket (top right of the page, your name, click on 'Your support room').

I took a look at your project and found the issue. RSD v1.5 does not include the jQuery libraries as we no longer use them. Since your menu requires jQuery, you need also to include these libraries within your RSD project. That is why your menu works in v1.2 as jQuery was part of that build.

You can download the libraries your script needs here at https://jquery.com/

Sorry for the confusion there. It is an easy fix, though. ;)

I have to ask because I'm curious...why no longer use them?

When RSD switched to using the <picture> element it was no longer needed. We just did not realize until recently that we still included it when it was no longer required.
