I've run into some issues with RSD, mostly with the Design Tab, since the update. I turned in a support ticket and the crew suggested I post the problems I've had here to see if anyone else has run into them or others.

1. Sometimes when I click on the Design tab nothing shows in the tab. I have to click on it again to get the design elements to show up.

2. Some of the elements under the Design tab do not work some of the time. Example: When trying to move the position of text from the left position in a box, the text position elements do not necessarily work. It is truly hit or miss.

3. Text boxes jumping from one position to another in it's column. Sometime's from one column to another column or even a row. It is almost impossible to get it back after it moves. Which takes me to the next issue.

4.Just a little while ago I had a few text boxes jump around and couldn't get them to move back and decided to close out the program and start it back up. When I clicked on the X it just closed without asking me if I wanted to save the changes. In that instance it worked out because I did not want to save the mess the page had become but I was wondering what would have happened if the program was closed by mistake.

6. When I click on different text elements the Href box is filled in with an external link, even though it should not be filled in. And in the preview the link is not active so it isn't really there is is just showing. Really confusing.

7. I just checked the preview in a browser and none of the changes I made with the text is showing up. I've attached a screenshot to show what I'm talking about. In RSD there are titles in white across the top of each column as there is in the first column. In the preview you can't see these because they are showing up in the very dark grey default color. I've changed the top text link and the bottom text link to white like the boxes in the first column to the left. As you can see they are still showing as the default color and font. The second box (Buffalo Bulls @ Pitt Panthers) in that second column is out of position, it should be next to last just above (Marshall Thundering Herd @ WVU Mountaineers). It moved on it's own and I can't get it back into position. And I can't go back because the ctrl-z does not work.

9. Earlier when I was doing some work when I jumped from one page to the other the alignment of the pages would be all off, mostly everything was aligned along the left side of the page with all the images stacked one on top of the other.

These issues appear to get worse the longer I am working in the program. When I opened up earlier everything seemed to work fine, after about an hour of work, things start acting up and gradually gets worse to the point that I can't do anything. And there may even be others issues that I'm not aware of.

Linda, something that would be helpful to know is if the problem is with a single project or all projects created with RSD? Additionally were these projects created with RLM and imported into RSD or created with RSD?

What Update? I am using Version 1.0 build 680. Is there a newer update out there. I checked my account & it does not show a newer update.

Build 683 was release earlier this week and announced here in the forums.

Sorry I didn't read all of your post! No it wasn't moved from RLM, it was started from scratch in RSD. (The HTML intimidates me a little).

Linda, your #7 has three different issues in it. I've experienced all three of them! The project I am working in now has had the "ctrl z" issue a couple of times. It just grays out under the edit. At the same time as that is going on, I also cannot save. Save is also grayed out. I can still do a save as, so I just started saving the file name with the date so I could keep track of it. Right now, I am having an issue changing the text color in two of my four text links in regular and hover state. It changes in the design tab, but not in the window. I may just delete them and then redo them.

The issues Bryan re-iterated are known issues so far as I know. I've been having the same issues ever since I started using RSD and I believe they are aware of them and working on them. Undo is a little squirrely and it also affects 'save'.

What I do for now until it is fixed... use 'Save As...' and just save over your project like normal. Then re-open your project and all your options and undo will start working again.

Also of note - using UL Link elements are a bit flaky as well - you can insert the element, start renaming them, and then once you start adding the links or sometimes even just renaming them, the entire Link Item itself will disappear. Just duplicate on of the others and keep on trucking. You can always drag them around to re-order them, etc.

I've not experienced a majority of the other issues listed, but those are some of the workarounds I've come across to be able to just keep working without issue. It is new software with some bugs. They'll get it straightened out.
