Is there a search friendly landing...

Hi,

About myself: I'm new to this software. I've previously used Adobe Muse and other visual design software. Although I got it a while ago I only installed it after getting the MATCO theme.

What I'd like to do is create a Google friendly landing page to update an older website, mainly to address SEO optimization issues affecting Google ranking in search results.

The desktop site landing page is laid out in three columns: left, middle right. The website has a list of updates & social network icon links on the left, a table of contents (which are links) in the middle and a quote on the right.

I got the MATCO theme for Site Designer V3 because I wanted to have the resources if needed. I've read in other posts to open from the theme and save what you want to use in another project, to basically copy the whole theme and then use what you want. Is that correct?

Or if after installing the MATCO theme does that make those components available?

It seems strange to me that the software features are dependent upon a theme. Is it that these features are components, basically snippets of code, which need to be saved from the theme before they can be used in other projects?

Is there a tutorial for a landing page, one with the latest updates? Perhaps one that involves the MATCO theme?

Thanks,
Truth C.

Hi,

I guess you have read this thread:
https://www.coffeecup.com/forums/site-d … post285388

The components are snippets of code, yes, and they are displayed and described on the various pages of the theme Matco. If you want to browse the pages and read up on the various features, do as Brian says in a post above here, it's easier than flicking through the pages of the .rsd file.
If you want to use some of the features, I would recommend making individual components of them.
The actual Matco theme, that is just the index page, and the parallax page could be saved as separate themes.
Ha en riktig god dag!
