I'm looking at your files. The map is just 400px wide, and the dimensions for it being displayed on the web have been set to max 800px for medium size and 1100px for large. That is much too large! Obviously you must have found the map somewhere. If you have scanned it from a publication, you know it is possible to scan in double size, then you might get it fairly ok also at 1000px on the web.

Maybe you are able to find a suiting map which is larger than the one you have? The one I was looking at was created by William Crawford, an ancestor of my late husband, what a coincident!
The Crawfords came from that area.
