You can see in Actions - Settings if the Motion-UI is checked or not. It is checked by default. To make the transitions, like 'fade' work, you need to have the latest release of SD, build 3285, in which the Foundation framework was updated.

But now i am confused.... Adding the corresponding attributes to the orbit wrapper does nothing, nor does adding the CSS classes to the slides.

What Am i missing?

Download and try this file and see if you can make it work. If you can, change out the images with your own. If you cannot, please send me your project and let me take a look at it.

Thanks a lot Inger! I had mine constructed like yours. I only have two more wrappers for the controls and bullets. But I noticed that somehow and somewhere some rouge styles had crept into the .is-activ selector. That broke the design. Comparing to your code, I could see where the fault was.
