I brought this up earlier in the year when I first bought RSD. The big fail then was that there was no F4 one touch upload (as in the HTML editor) unless you were with S-Drive. Has there been any movement on this?

Direct publishing is reserved only for S-Drive. To upload to your own server, you need to export first.

You can transfer your custom domain to S-Drive for free which would then give you direct publishing.
