Hey Mark,
Just tested....made a "catalog" with 3 items....put the html element in RSD...uploaded using the S drive feature...went into ecwid and deleted a product...refreshed the uploaded page and the item was removed.
So...place the html element once and then can modify right inside of ecwid.
I am not certain all functions will behave this way, but this worked. Also, I am the only user, it appears you can add users with a paid account. Right now using the free one...seems there a lot more nice features with paid account.

Ecwid does show promise....Thanks for the info ! I have been testing this tonight. Everything is easy and straight forward.
