Confused on upgrade - centering...
I just upgraded to vers 2 and I am having a hard time with the transition. I'm sure its more powerful and can do many more things but now - aaahhh!
First issue is centering pictures and text. With v1 it was easy - so for this project I started in v2I placed a pic in the background of a column and then put a subgrid with a lens effect so I could superimpose a logo and phone email etc. Top row of the subgrid I placed the logo and can only get it to only left justify within the column. Second row is phone and same issue - only left justify. I'm sure its something stupid but i am missing it. Did a few hundred sites with v1 and was getting the hang of it gut this change has really confused me. How about type size - no pt sizes anymore?
Sorry - first of many

AFAIK 'pt's are mainly used for printed media. Maybe that's why they have been removed?

Which grid system are you talking about? Maybe you could create a quick mock-up where you have the problem.

They way I would have done it in 1.5 is to select the picture element, and then check off the AUTO boxes under the Margin %left and %right boxes.
In RSD2 - same thing - except you click on the measurement type under the Margin Boxes with the left and right arrows. They default at px. Click on them, and a popup menu will display - now select auto for each the left and right boxes.
You will be better served using Flex and learning what it can do. Select the column, and in the position part of the design, set the display to flex. Then Boxes will show up, select the Justify box and select center from its option.
