Working on wedding website design lately and wanted to share a few practical points for anyone tackling one:

Keep it lean – guests really just need date, venue, RSVP, and maybe a registry link. Resist the urge to add too many sections/pages.
Mobile-first build – majority of guests open these on phone, so test RSVP forms and galleries on small screens first, not as an afterthought.
Optimize images – wedding sites tend to be photo-heavy, so compress/lazy-load or load times tank fast.
RSVP that actually notifies you – a form that just sits in a database is useless; make sure it emails responses or logs to a sheet you check.
Custom domain over subdomain – yourname-wedding.com reads way more polished than a free builder subdomain.
