Is the Beta 2 version 2044 adding jquery.min.js v2.2.4 ?
I just installed 2044. Previously I was using Beta 2 1965. After upgrading, my custom jquery on the pages was not working. Checking the code, it appears that 2044 is adding another version of jquery, and not the version that I specify in my headers. I was able to get around it by editing the html to remove the references to jquery added to the pages.
Is there a way to prevent the Designer from inserting its own version of jquery, or do I have to edit the pages every time to remove this?
Unless, of course, I am mistaken, and this is not what is happening.
Thank you!
P.S. I have to tell you - I was highly skeptical of trying the Responsive Designer. After years of happily using the CoffeeCup HTML Designer, I was not a fan at first of the coding limitations in the Designer. However, it is growing on me. I actually am starting to appreciate the added tools that Responsive Designer offers, and even suggested it to another developer.
Beta 2 2044 jquery
Hi Deb,
Yes 2044 is using Jquery 2.2.4. You could use a noconflict and still add your needed version of Jquery.
