Hi
With SCC I built 2 different shops in 2 different servers and if I had worked with shop 1 other day and today I open the shop 2, saved in my disk I need to pay attention and set the right server and theme for the shop 2, because the program stays with this settings from the previous shop. Sometimes i forgot and messed everything.
Or I'm doing something wrong or it's an issue to be solved. Somebody has the same experience???

I've done that several times. It's irritating. I hope it's something CC changes.

In SCC

Have you tried going to edit,,,,settings,,,,and bullet mark start with a new store

opens up each time empty

Then go to file ,,,,open shop,,, and select which of your shops you want to open

I had same problem with 4 stores each one now is now name differently.

That doesn't fix the server settings issue. Just my opinion, but the server settings should stay with the shop irregardless whether its in the Basic SCC or the Pro version. It seems like we've accepted this as a feature limitation of the basic version of SCC. Was SCC basic sold as a one site only shopping cart creation tool? The developers had to know we'd be creating multiple sites, many of us bought the software fully expecting to create more than one site.
I've got no problem buying the Pro version, but this just feels like an oversight as opposed to a feature request.
Like I said, just my opinion.

The basic version really was designed for the single shop owner. Not really an oversight, more by design. This is why we are developing a 'pro' version.

I stand corrected, your right server settings are always the last shop opened

I am just using drop down with a different name for each shop

And have a habit because of my amateur approach of checking server setting every time before uploading.

And as Scott said this basic version is more aimed at the likes of me doing my own shops not a commercial user.
