I have the trial and will definitely buy it but have some problems:

1. I have powweb as a host and when I try to add an item it will not let me.

I also want to know why my sites name is duplicating? I do not have it in two folders.

2. You are coming out with a web builder version of shopping cart if I buy this one do I have to buy both?

Thank you,
Randy Vild

Try uploading your cart again. Maybe not all the files got transfered to your website somehow?

When you set up your server settings, what does the remote path look like? It should maybe just be www, and maybe you put www/randyvildsorchestrations instead? That would put all your files inside of a "randyvildsorchestrations" folder on your server.

I have never heard of this "web builder version of shopping cart". You might have to send that question to CoffeeCup directly, using the "Get Support" tab at the top of the page. Might be the fastest way to an answer.

Hi Randy,

You will see a duplication of the name if you do not also enter in some text for the "Shop Header" If you only use the "Shop Name", the text will appear twice.

At this time we have no plans for a "Web" version of the software.

I tried uploading the entire shop and still get NOTHING IN CART after clicking Add To Cart.

Scott, I have a description in my header and still get duplication name,
http://randyvildsorchestrations.com/ran … ions/shop/

I have noticed that if cookies are not enabled on other sites it does the same thing, "There are no items in your Cart". I would suggest you make this say Please enable cookies". The potential client thinks something is wrong but does not know what.

I called Powweb and they are looking into this but I would think they are already set up with php.

PS: Scott, I must of worded it wrong but you told me the following in a previous post: I said, I heard that there is a new version of the shopping cart program that actually can integrate custom design. You responded: Not right now. That program is still being developed and not ready for public beta testing. When that is ready, we will make an official announcement in our forums. We are however getting close ;)

Powweb support just informed me that they ran test and upgraded to PHP 5 but still no fix. I have all my files in a folder called shop.

I just ran your test script and it failed in one place:

PHP Version
OK - installed version of PHP on this server is: 5.2.1.
PHP Extensions
OK - found all PHP features needed to run the cart scripts.
Session Data
FAILED - this server can not store cart data for users.
Connectivity with PayPal
OK - successfully contacted the PayPal server.
Connectivity with Google Checkout
OK - successfully contacted the Google Checkout server.
Maximum Execution Time Allowed
OK - server allows scripts to run for 120 seconds.
File Structure
OK - all directories are present and accessible, no empty files have been encountered.
Finished testing.

Looks like you need to contact Powerweb and have them fix the PHP Session problem. Once that is fixed, everything else should fall into place.

Ya Jewel Craft. It would be great if someone did not have cookies enabled when they entered the cart that recognizes it like many sites do and says, TURN IT ON.
