The templates are great but how come there is no way to style the cart colors easily - i really can't use it if i can't get it to match my existing site

are there instructions somewhere which enable me to do this -

Anthony,

CoffeeCup is working on a Shopping Cart style or design program. I have no idea when it will be ready, but the announcements here and Scott will post something when it is ready.

Yes and I had the privilege of giving it a shakedown and providing some feedback. I didn't encounter any bugs myself (and I only found one thing I thought they needed to add) which leads me to believe it won't be too long before you see it released. My thoughts are that the software is easy to use overall and most Shopping Cart users will find this styler desirable to have.

I'm working at including contact information into my cart via home.xml file. I was somewhat successful but it's just a too tiny and at the bottom of the home page, however, it does work. I don't know the correct placement of HTML to increase font size. Can I understand from your post Ford Doctor that I should wait for the new version? Will an item ID field be included. Sub-categories? In-site search? P A T I E N C E ! Something I pray for everyday.
Thanks

I was merely indicating that the STYLER does exist and it is on it's way - when? I would not have that inside information - but since I have seen it, it looks complete and works nicely so I assume it is not too far away. Trust me, I am on pins and needles too! I have shirts to seel to my on-line community.

so its not part of the shopping cart update its a separate app ??

is it specific to shopping cart or does it have a more generic usage ?

As I understand right now the Shopping Cart Theme styler is not part of the shopping cart upgrade itself but a separate application. and you will only be able to use it for the shopping cart themes.

Hope this answers your question :)

Scott,

Will the styler allow us to easily replace the shop title with perhaps something flash from Firestarter ?

At the moment we are limited to quite a small graphic, something like a standard banner size might be better, perhaps others might like to add their 2penneth.

In addition the additional pages / optional extra pages using the style I tested only seem to be at the bottom, will we be able to place these towards the top ?

These aren't complaints, merely nice to haves...

Keep the changes rolling and thanks :D

I am sorry but that is not an option in the software. You will have full control over the look and feel, but you are still restricted to certain dimensions.
