Is there a way to not have any products show up on the Shop Home page...

I would just like to have the text show and then the customer can go to the Catagories to choose where to shop.

It appears now that you need a product on the Home page.

Not at this time. You can either have all of the items in the first group appear or you can feature select items.

Maybe you can do this...
If you want to create a good "landing page" with quality content and without any products on the first page, have your shopping cart files uploaded to a sub-folder in the root directory (i.e. /www/shop/ then..."shopping cart files"

Put your landing page (index.html) in the root directory of your hosting server (i.e. /www/index.html)

Have a link on the landing page directed to your store. It should look like this: http://your-domain.com/shop/index.html

Another option would be to add a subdomain to your default domain (i.e. http://store.your-domain.com) and have the Shopping Cart files uploaded to the subdomain.
