re: Styler;
I'm coming from a lack of knowledge but here goes. Is the styler a means to more control over the look of the cart. Will it be an aid in setting up an in-site search feature. What of sub-categories. Will it alter my existing cart to the point I can't go back to the 3.5 standard. What is the estimated cost. By the term styler I guess it would be no help in creating a data file that can be loaded to Google.
Thanks

Did anyone else have the upgrade crash their site?

All the designer application will allow you to do is customize the look and feel of your shop. It will not add any new abilities or features to the shop. When working with the designer application, any changes you save will be permanent. It will be no different then making a modification to a theme in an editor.
Right now we have no set price point, but as always, I am sure it will be a very competitive price.

I just played around with the trial version and love it! I have a few questions though, before I consider switching our current online store (which we have through Cartmanager, using Intuit Merchant Services as our credit card processor).
First of all - Shipping calculations - will the program be able to connect to the USPS, FedEx or UPS shipping calculators, and figure a shipping cost based on the weight of the items?
How do we, as merchants, receive notification of the orders and view customer order info?
Can customers choose product options, ie - color options?
We want to make sure our customers are able to pay with a credit card without being required to sign up for a PayPal account. If I understand correctly, PayPal Payments standard allows for that? I am not familiar with Authorize.net, so I need to check into that as well.
Lastly, I absolutely love Visual Site Designer and have been using it up until now to sell our products as well by creating "Add to Cart" codes in Cartmanager and just pasting them into our website pages. Will the shopping cart just be an "add-on" to our current website? We have our own background going on the website and wondered if we will be able to import that background into the shopping cart pages as well.
If the answers to these questions look good, I will be so happy because i absolutely love how easy your software is to use!

Hi Karen,
1) Not yet, but this will be in our Pro version.
2) The merchant will send you the order details.
3) Not yet, but this will be in our Pro version.
4) That is correct. With PayPal Website Payments Standard your customers are not required to create an account.
5) With our designer application due out in the next few weeks, you will be able to fully customize the design of your shop.
The pro version we hope to have out by the end of summer.
Hope that answers everything

Hi Scott,
This is excellent. I love the new features! Exactly what I needed.
I have one question... Until you get out the styler for this is there anything that can be doen in the meantime to bring back the larger banner i had? Just curious.

I am trying out the trial version and have one question. The items that I need to sell on our site are print materials, i.e postcards, invitations, etc. I need the option for the customer to choose what quantity they want from a drop down menu and the price adjust accordingly. I also need them to have a paper option that adjusts the price in addition t the first adjustment. I have several other drop downs that will be needed as well, all of which impact the total cost of the item being purchased. Is this something that can be done in 3.5, or am I at a loss? Thanks for your time! Love your software!

Sure can, but you would have to manually edit the CSS files to accomplish this. You can find a lot of information over at http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/shoppin … nd-tricks/

None of those features are a part of our software at this time but will be in our pro version due out later this year.
