Shipping Questions
I am setting up my cart. Question is: I am going to be selling everything from boots ($40-$100) to stickers ($4-$12) to police lights($80-$800). I cannot figure out how to setup shipping. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this with Creator? I cannot figure out the shipping and really need other users ideas.
At the moment you can either set it to a flat rate, or a flat rate and add extra for some items, or no flat rate and each item has a separate postage rate that adds on to the others.
You can also have several flat rate categories that the customer can choose at checkout. So you might have a rate for stickers, one for medium weight things and one for heavier stuff.
Some items you would loose money on postage others you would make a bit.
A lot of companies have deals with freight companies so they can offer a competitive flat rate to all.
When Pro comes out you will most likely have better control over shipping rates.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.
Anyone used USPS flat rate boxes? Envelopes for $4.95 up to 70lbs, up to a 12"x12" box for $14.95? I am planning on using this, but, for some of my lights and boots, they won't fit in the box, so do I just set a custom shipping for these?
Wow they are amazing rates!
Yes I would do a separate shipping category for those. You have space to do 4 I think.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
