Hello!
I searched the forums and DID NOT find a solution.
Is there a way of establishing a "discounted shipping cost" when you order more than 3 items of the the same?
For example:
Joe ordered 1 CD and the shipping cost him $3.50 per 1 CD.
But, if Joe ordered 5 CDs can we lower the shipping cost to a lesser amount than the $17.50 he would pay for shipping ($3.50 x 5 = $17.50)
I want to be able to configure shipping to be
$3.50 for shipping for each of the first 3 items. But, $2.00 for shipping per item if you order 3 or more of the same item.
I hope I do make sense in what I'm looing for.
I am using Version 3.0 of CoffeeCup Shopping Cart.
Thank you.
Shipping Discount On More Items Ordered
What you can do is set up a shipping cost of $2.00 Then configure the an add on amount of $1.50 to be added to the shipping total.
The $2.00 gets added for every item purchased but the $1.50 only gets added once.
$2.00 + $1.50 you have your $3.50 for one item
$2.00 + $2.00 + $2.00 + $2.00 + $2.00 + $1.50 and you have $11.50 for 5 items purchased.

$2.00 + $1.50 you have your $3.50 for one item
$2.00 + $2.00 + $2.00 + $2.00 + $2.00 + $1.50 and you have $11.50 for 5 items purchased.
Thanks BILL DUTCHER.
I saw this option before and did not know exactly what it was for. But, yes, it can be done!
Thanks again.
If I have anymore questions, I'll be sure to ask you:D
