One of my products is out of stock but I'd still like it published (price and shipping etc have been set to nil) and I've put an OUT OF STOCK text on the product title line.

When I go to upload the cart, a warning box appears and highlights the product has no price (great if you've missed setting it!) and says the product will not appear in the published shop but I've ticked the Publish Product box and would like it published.

Is there anyway to get it published?

SCC basic has no inventory so for it to appear it has to have a price

£00.01 will do it, i had the same problem for ages.

Trouble is some numpty tried to buy a 9ct signet ring for £00.01 and tried it on !

I think in SCC pro things work a little different and you have an option for OUT OF STOCK

and pro does a lot of other things better aswell

Yep for sure Pro version will handle what you are wanting and you won't have to add any Out of Stock image or text to your images as the Pro version does that for you. If something has a zero quantity it's automatically considered out of stock and will still show on the site, it just won't be purchasable at all.
