Problems with images - Page 3

Yesterday was very interesting. My cart was located at the top level of my hosting and it seems I deleted files that I should not have. I was able to upload my cart but most images were gone, no doubt one of the files I deleted or generally messed up. Since I didn't know my way around the cart software (C-list was so much easier) I dropped my cart down a level so only required files would be in a folder labeled /shop. Our WiFi is still acting up so I uploaded my cart publishing only a few categories at a time. I changed back to my favorite theme, Fleur-De-Lis and once again my images would not enlarge. I changed to another theme and all seems to be well now. The cart is great and my next challenge is to add a contact page using Form Builder, so much software and so little time.

BTW Scott, do you ever sleep? Your customer support is awesome!

I have done all of the above (deleted from server and uploaded again...changed theme and changed back, several times) and it is still not enlarging the pics.

since it seems quite a few are having this issue I do not see the point in having multiple phone calls/tickets going at the same time for the same thing.

Please post the fix here when it is discovered and I will check throughout the day for info.

Right now we still cannot find any issues with the software. I had BookPublisher send me his shop and FTP information. I then uploaded it from here and everything worked fine. All I did was open, save, publish. Made no changes at all.

The programmers also spent a few hours here double checking all code and we cannot find anything wrong on the back end either.

We will keep looking though.

When I select "Export Shop for Upload," SCC is not generating a colorbox.js or colorbox.css file. It is, instead, creating thickbox.js and thickbox.css files. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program but the problem persists. I created 3 new shops; 1 worked properly, 2 did not -- same image problem. I'm using Version 3.5 Build 2338.

I tried calling as Scott suggested but was on hold too long. Will continue experimenting...

Book Publisher,

that is interesting....I also noticed thickbox scroll by instead of colourbox when I was publishing and thought it strange since there had been comments saying they had switched from thickbox to colourbox....hummmm...

i am also on build 2338

We just were able to track down the issue. It had to do with the themes that you purchased which did not come with Shopping Cart Creator. If you use one of the default ones it will work. We are in the process of updating all of the themes now. I will post a note as soon as they are up. You will then just need to re-download these themes and place them in the Themes folder save and publish.

I had just thought about the themes and wondered if they could be causing the problem. Thanks for all your help.

All of the themes have been updated. Go to http://www.coffeecup.com/help/myorders and then scroll down to "Other Products" and you will find the updated themes.

We are very sorry that this issue occurred and are taking steps to insure this does not happen again.

So Fleur-De-Lis was causing the problem? Good to know. I'm off to my swim exercise class and then back to downloading the updated Fleur-De-Lis theme. I plan to use the Fleur-De-Lis form theme as well.

When I was editing and deleting and messing up yesterday I notice that at one time the boxes around the enlarged images were smaller and nearly the size of the image. Now the white around the image is again large. However, it's working. This reminds me of my years of setting up and debugging programs, much easier on the mainframe. Oh for the simplicity of 4GL. Oops, I'm dating myself.

Most likely. Any included themes would have been fine. Anything purchased through our theme store or bundles had the problem. Fun stuff to track down too! :)
