I have only got 4 items in my shop, and they are all the same category.

So is there a way to get rid of categories and possibly do something else with this point in the menu, please?

There is no way to remove the categories. Each product must belong to a category.

Seems a bit of overkill to use a shopping cart program for just 4 items, maybe you'd be better off just adding paypal buy it now buttons from the paypal site ?
