Let me start by saying that I'm a beginner when it comes to websites. I know just enough to be dangerous :-) . With that said, I'm having trouble with the Google Checkout function with my store. When I try to use Google Checkout, I get the following error message:

Google Checkout has returned an error!
Ack: error
Message: Error parsing XML; message from parser is: Invalid value for body of edit-cart-url in checkout-shopping-cart/checkout-flow-support/merchant-checkout-flow-support: URL contains illegal characters
Post: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><checkout-shopping-cart xmlns="http://checkout.google.com/schema/2"><shopping-cart><items><item><item-name>February 21-22 Indoor Softball Tournament</item-name><item-description>16u&#47;18u Age Division-Hosted by Vandalia Softball</item-description><quantity>1</quantity><unit-price currency="USD">445.00</unit-price><tax-table-selector>None</tax-table-selector></item></items></shopping-cart><checkout-flow-support><merchant-checkout-flow-support><edit-cart-url>http://www.stlplaysports.com:80/tournament store/StlPlaySports-server/cart.php</edit-cart-url><shipping-methods><flat-rate-shipping name="Credit Card Processing Fee"><price currency="USD">10.00</price></flat-rate-shipping></shipping-methods><tax-tables><default-tax-table><tax-rules><default-tax-rule><rate>0</rate><tax-area><world-area/></tax-area></default-tax-rule></tax-rules></default-tax-table><alternate-tax-tables><alternate-tax-table standalone="true" name="None"><alternate-tax-rules><alternate-tax-rule><rate>0</rate><tax-area><world-area/></tax-area></alternate-tax-rule></alternate-tax-rules></alternate-tax-table></alternate-tax-tables></tax-tables></merchant-checkout-flow-support></checkout-flow-support></checkout-shopping-cart>

I have double and triple checked to make sure that I have the correct Google Merchant ID and Merchant Key and it all checks out. Can anyone help?

My store is located at http://www.stlplaysports.com/tournament … r/cart.php

Thanks!

Hi Matthew

I have not seen that specific issue myself either. I will log this with our programmers and see what I can find out.

We think we figured it out. You have a space in one of your folder names. What you have at http://www.stlplaysports.com/tournament … ts-server/ should really be http://www.stlplaysports.com/tournament … ts-server/ Having spaces in file names and directories can sometimes cause all sorts of strange issues.

Try renaming the directory and see if that helps.
