Browser can't find uploaded shop.

Hi,

This is probably a real dumb question with an obvious answer, but I have searched the forums, and have run out of ideas.

I have an existing web site built with Visual Site Designer 7 and want to add a shop with Shopping Cart Creator.

I have built a small part of the shop, and the preview looks good. As I want to test some of the cart functionality, I have uploaded to a separate folder (shop) but when I point my browser there (http:\\xxx.xxx\shop\) it can't find it. (Using Filezilla I can see it is actually there)

This is what is there;
htdocs
\ shop (contains sync.xml and 8 php files)
\ project_files
| js
| css
| images
| ccdata

My questions;
What do I "point" the browser at to see the shop site?
Do I need to add a link in the htdocs\index.html to a file in the shop?

Many thanks,

Garry.

It looks like your formatting the URL wrong. You do not use a \ instead you use a /. The shop also uses PHP, so you are looking for /shop/index.php

Hi,

My mistake on the "\", I often revert to the old DOS days :-(

I was in fact using the correct /.

Now that I have forced the browser to look for the index.php, I have found out that my site may not support PHP. I have asked my host if they do ...

Many thanks.

Garry.
