Tax on shipping

Hi

I am having recurring problems with the tax on shipping. In some of the shipping locations they are not subject to the 10% GST. This part is working fine. On the shipping they are liable for the 10% GST. In most cases this weeks, however on some it does not work.

The only one I see that doesn't work is "Pickup Tingalpa 4173 (Prior Approval)".
Did you try republishing your shop. I would also dbl check your settings again.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi

I have reset all of the sessions, republished, cleared out the WEB cache. If the GST and Shipping tax are above 0.00 it works. If the GST is 0.00% and the shipping is 10% it does not apply the tax line. If the GST is 10% and the shipping is set to 0% it works.

The pick up at Tingalpa was incorrect. I have corrected it 0.00% shipping tax and works as designed. The cost in the weight section is $0.00.

This has me stumped. I added destinations that do not pay GST on the product about 12 months ago. I have gone through the PayPal notifications and discovered it has not been working at all. I just didn't notice. My wife is an accountant and brought it my attention regarding a US sale this week.

I have attached a screen shot for the weights.

It must have to do with which variable is applied first.

Eric

I have a work around for this, however I believe that this to be a repeatable error. If I set the GST (First column where the value was $0.0000 with the value of $0.0001 all works correctly. Rounding causes this to amount to go away.

Resolution:
If the first tax column has a value >$0.0001 it calculates all subsequent columns no matter what the value. If the first tax column has a value of $0.0000 it will not add the any following columns no matter what the value is.

The pickup shipping entry has a GST value and no shipping amount and works fine.

In Australia all goods and services must have GST applied. When I sell to an address outside of Australia no GST is payable on the goods and services. However, the shipping and handling charge is inside of Australia and GST has to be added.

Thanks for your help.
