I am thinking of buying SCCPro but I already have my shop in SCC.
Do I have to start over and re build the entire shop??
What about the theme I am using?? Do I need to redo it?
switching from SCC to SCCPro
You can go usually forward from basic into pro, but not backwards.
most themes are compatible with both, but if you have used scd you might have to upgrade that as well
do the usual, download the trial first and play with it, all will become clear
Oh and your shop should work fine

Yeah they are compatible no worries there prairie. You'll need to update the theme you're using to the Pro version once you convert to Pro, and opening your shop with the Pro version and saving it will automatically convert it to the Pro version too so it's pretty easy.
If you do decide to get them, be sure to make backups of your current files before you open anything in the Pro versions so they will still work in the Basic if you change your mind. Once you do that store those files somewhere safe in case you need them. Then be sure to open your theme file in the Pro Designer and I believe there is an Upgrade choice on the menu to upgrade a theme from basic to pro, and backwards also you can go with themes. Once you upgrade it, be sure to save it and export it to SCCP (make sure to install SCCP before you do any of this).
Easy Smeasy, you'll see
