Is there a way to automatically sort products within a category alphabetically? The click and drag thing is cumbersome.

No, I don't think there is. In fact I thought they went in in the order you put them in, Not alphabetically.

theres a workaround, by creating a new category, and using the move to option, so you can move them into the new category in the order you want, then re name the category

Thanks for the idea. I guess I'll have to put this in as a suggestion for the future.

I wish this would get added. The only way I can sort is to export the csv file, create a template with a blank category, import the sorted csv file and delete the blank category. I've had issues with the import though so make backups constantly!!!
