Resizing my Shopping site

I started to create & design my shopping site to link up to my main website over a year ago, but then had to put it on hold due to other commitments. I've now need to sort it out as soon as possible, but my mind has gone blank! Basically I want it to look the same as my main website - which it does colourwise, etc, but when I preview it (I don't want to upload it yet as I've got so much to do to it first), it's so much wider than my main website and it looks very weird, but I can't find anywhere on the Designer Pro software to alter this. My main website is 760 wide but the shopping site looks more like 900!

Also when I click onto a product to enlarge it, it doesn't look as big as the ones on my site and yet the jpgs on my shopping site are 700 px high and only 600 on my main one. What am I doing wrong? I've put my main website URL for you to see what I'm aiming for with my shopping site.

This is the trouble with starting something and then going back to it months later. I really don't want to have to start it all over again.

Would really appreciate your help on these two problems, although I daresay there may be one or two more later :/

Cheers!

I think you have two choices. 800 or 1024.:) I don't remember being able to set the width to any custom value.:( You maybe able alter a theme with an editor to be a custom size but I think it would be a huge task.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric

Then mine is obviously 1024. How do I alter it to 800? That's all I need to know ...

Cheers!

Hey rosie, In SCCP select 'Theme' from the top menu. Then under that it will say Theme Preferences. Should be a drop down there for 800px or 1024px. Choose a theme under the 800px then modify that for your site. Hope this helps.

Thanks Gunsmoke. I really appreciate that. Didn't fancy starting totally from scratch again, but this should be a lot easier to do. X
