Thanks for all the info. I downloaded the 'free' version on the HTML editor, but it doesn't have the visual editor, which makes it worthless for me. I'm pretty happy with VSD, but if the HTML Editor is even better, I'll have to give it a try.

I've never used Notepad for editing or grabbing HTML, but would you recommend it for VSD files?

Just use the free html editor you already downloaded. Editors usually keep spacing nicely, where notepad does not.

I'd say VSD is easier than the HTML Editor in visual mode.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

I am able to open a VSD file directly in Dreamweaver that is on my computer. However since using CC programs, I really dislike DW.

Eric says "You can copy the code generated by vsd into a page on CC's HTML2010 editor " etc.... But where do you find the code generated by VSD??? That is the question...

In VSD preview the page that you want the code from.
If previewing in Fire Fox right click on the page some where and in the menu click "View Page Source"
Copy this code into the editor.
If previewing in IE right click on the page some where and in the menu click "View Source"
Make sure you save the page in VSD under a different name for safe keeping so when you upload from VSD it won't over right the other one that you make in your other editor if you ftp it from the one. Otherwise just add it to the files in VSD.:)

The CCHTML editor is Awesome. But don't think your going to jump back and forth between the hard code and the visual mode without issues. There's a option to save before switching for a reason.

I don't really want to 'code'... I just want to create a page with some photos and text and be able to copy the html into the Cart Creator Pro. I hope that works....

I don't know if there are any firm plans to upgrade the cart's editor at some stage, but it could certainly do with a button to insert images and another button to centralise text.

The HTML Editor program does have a visual editor built in, but it doesn't show it by default for some obscure reason. You have to activate it under tools / preferences and select the visual editor (WYSIWIG) radio button. VSD doesn't give you anything like the control that the HTML Editor does.

Unfortunately, you'll have to do a little coding to do what you're looking for to get things lined up correctly, or to do as mentioned above and insert the code itself from a VSD page you create. That's the minimal amount you'll need to work with though, so if that works you should be pretty well set to go. We can help if you need assistance on getting things to line up etc. so no worries :)

Ok, I'm going to play with this some more today. I like Eric's suggstion for view source. So far I'm not real happy with the HTML Editor (unfortunatly, I paid for it).

Well good luck Marilyn, hopefully getting the code from the VSD pages will work for you as that would be the optimal solution for your situation. HTML Editor is quite awesome, but unfortunately I think you misunderstood about the visual vs. code setup and everyone was talking about code not visual so you ended up stuck with the HTML Editor. Don't sweat it though, at some point in time you'll use it for coding one thing or another, or just editing the code you're copying from VSD pages or whatever, it will come in handy at some point in the future I'm sure :)
