Cheers
got it now, I was in the wrong place going a bit to fast. I just paid £3 pounds for a paypal security token that gets emailed to your mobile phone ( o joy ) You have to use this every time you log into your paypal account.

Ok, I've set up my PayPal preferences to accomodate this, but what happens when I accept payments that are not from my CC shopping cart?

In order to get this token, I've had to specify a return URL - fine for the CC shopping cart if it overrides it, but does this now mean whenever I take a PayPal payment elsewhere then buyers will be directed to the link I specified? I have more than one site, and I don't really want to direct buyers to a web site they've not been using.

Thanks,

Phli

PayPal requires that you enter a URL there to get the token ID, but we do not use it. Instead we use the REFER URL and that is what we send the customer back to. So anything can go in there as it is completely ignored.

FYI: I had originally not entered anything into the token field. My published cart was missing the "Check Out with PayPal" button until I saw the post to enter the URL (even though it's ignored). Once I did that the button showed up.
