I am having trouble.
I want my customer to delete his order or empty his cart and start over if he hasn't started the checkout process.
I tried setting the product quanitiy to 0 and then updating the cart but it won't let me.
Does the cart have a little trashcan icon that I have somehow disabled.
Thanks

Are you viewing your cart live on the web? In 'preview' mode before uploading a lot of the cart functions don't work. But they will once the cart is uploaded.
If your cart is on-line, can you share a link to it

I do believe If the user closes their browser your product will become available again.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I just remembered that you have the choice to remove items from inventory after transaction is complete.
Click on "Your Shop" at the top then click on the Inventory tab. There's also a delete product on the cart page.

I don't want to remove items from inventory.
I want my customer to be able to change his mind and choose not to order or to order a different product. Once the product is in their cart, there doesn't seem to be a way to remove it and go back to shopping.\\

Hey Conrad, I don't have a shop on-line right now to check this, but in SCC under 'Product List' then on the right side it says 'More Options'. Then down under 'Quantities', what do you have? If you have a 'range' selected then you might try 'Let Buyer Choose' and see what happens.
Also noticed on your page that you have a statement about quantity being a whole number and not 0. Where did that come from?

Gunsmoke,
Thanks for the help but I have tried all 3 boxes under Quantities,
Default -- no difference
Range - no difference
Let Buyer Choose - no difference
When I say no difference, I mean as far as being able to delete a product from the cart. The Let Buyer Choose works best because the customer can at least change the quanity if they want more than one.

I have no idea where this comes from but it shows up whenever I try to use 0 and then update the cart to remove the product.

Hey Conrad, I duplicated your problem. With a number in the inventory, it will not let you have a quantity less than 1 in the cart after an item is selected. But, I get a 'Delete' button in whatever theme I select (tried Deep Red and Designer Stuff). Why you don't have a 'Delete' button I don't know. I don't know how much customizing you did to your 'theme' but as a test you might re-load the basic theme and save your shop under a different name. Then upload it to a test directory and see if it gives you the delete button.
Other than that, we may have to wait for someone else to chime in here. Sorry I couldn't be more help but as I say, I get the 'Delete' button and that removes the last item from the cart.

Just found out my problem. In Designer Pro I had picked a white background in my view cart so you could see the word "delete". I changed the background to gray and the word "delete" showed up in white. Now when I click on delete, it empties my cart -- Problem solved.
Thanks Gunsmoke,
I entered my last post without reading yours. Your advice was spot on -- I was customizing the theme too much. Thanks for the help.
